Qualitätssicherung für die Entwicklung von Batteriemodulen und Batteriepaketen

Batterie Prüflabor

The main task of a Automotive Battery Abuse Test Center is, to bring E-Vehicle batteries, fuel cells, to their limits in a targeted, real time monitored, controlled reproducible manner, under realistic stress tests in a test laboratory.

Project support within the development and acceptance testing of batteries with their components, to obtain, for example, type approval, for series production.

The main components of a Battery R&D-, quality-, safety-center, are e.g., various test benches, incl. climatic- and altitude-simulation chambers, for targeted, controlled, reproducible, artificial real-time battery agening, under a wide variety of conditions, e.g. cold, heat, altitude, humidity, with regard to their influence on charging and discharging processes.

Electrothermal and mechanical tests increase the reliable operational safety, when used, for example, in vehicles in daily road traffic and to ensure the sustainable quality of the product itself and it‘s application.

Using special configured AIP testing systems/techniques (hardware and automation), infrastructure, safety concepts, batteries (at cell-, module-, and pack-level) are subjected to a wide range of standard-defined stress tests (abuse tests) [e.g. ECE R 100], in the laboratory, prior to their series use in vehicles, realistically and reproducibly, e.g. to obtain series approval.
